With a lifetime spent on the water, Chris Aubut brings unmatched depth and breadth of maritime experience to Stellwagen Marine Services. From the harbors of Cape Cod to the flats of Key West, Chris has dedicated over 30 years to boating, fishing, and marine craftsmanship—and it shows in every interaction with someone interested in the water.
A graduate of the Chapman School of Seamanship, Chris received professional mariner training that laid the foundation for a diverse and accomplished maritime career. He has served as an Able Seaman aboard tugboats, worked as Dockmaster at MacDougalls’ Marina in Falmouth, and spent years as a professional fishing guide in Key West, Florida and Westport, Massachusetts, helping others connect with the water and the sport he loves.
In addition to his survey work, Chris is a premier handcrafted fishing rod manufacturer, blending artistry with function to create high-performance rods tailored to each angler’s style. Whether you're seeking an experienced eye to evaluate your vessel or a custom rod built with precision and pride, Chris delivers trusted expertise backed by decades of experience and a true mariner’s heart.
